The WebbWeaver Team
CK Webb was born and raised in Mississippi, and dreamed of writing like the greats; Emily Bronte, Edgar Allen Poe, and Stephen King, to name a few. CK joined the US Navy and traveled the world, but eventually returned to settle down in the tiny town of Millport, Alabama.
A self-proclaimed ‘reformed bad girl', this thirty-something writer now shares her life with her husband and two children. She loves praying on the fears of others and killing the legal way...in her writing. She has just completed her debut novel, Cruelty to Innocents, which she co-wrote with her best-friend and mother, DJ Weaver. CK spends her time reading and writing and is one-half of the duo who run WebbWeaver website and blog.
DJ Weaver is a fledgling author who has recently completed her first novel Cruelty to Innocents, which she co-wrote with her daughter and best friend, CK Webb.
In her spare time, DJ developed and now maintains WebbWeaver - Books, Movies & Music Reviewed blog and WebbWeaver website, where published authors are regularly interviewed. She also serves as co-chairman of WebbWeaver Book Club.
DJ is originally from Pascagoula, MS but relocated to north Mississippi in 1980. She attended MS University for Woman and MS State University, studying paralegalism and Human Resources Management. DJ is a 57 year old mother and grandmother, who works full-time and makes her home in Millport, AL
